The staff was helpful and they also provide a few pamplets that include things to see and do in Shanghai. The hotel is a little bit away from the city centre so it's good for people who like things quiet. There is a huge park right behind the hotel where you can go for a good walk, and there is a street full of good restaurants right after the hotel. I also liked having a weight scale in the bathroom. However breakfast was the same thing every day (I stayed 5 days) and same songs played on a loop. The dining area of the breakfast buffet was freezing (as if A/C was stuck on). To the point everyone ate with their coats on. But the worst part was that the bed was extra hard, like sleeping on concrete. Perhaps they can get a thick mattress topper to fix this issue.
