"Everything was great. There was too much humidity in the room so all dry clothes became wet and all wet clothes couldn’t dry. Even the mirror was foggy. The pool was closed so they gave us free tickets for the CocoBongo show which was really fun. Public transit was really close. Once we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Overall great value for the money."

"Overall a pretty good hostel. We had a private room and the room was very spacious which was amazing. The only downside is the bathroom smelled terrible - like sewage. If we didn't close the bathroom door the smell filled up the whole room. The rooftop bar has great food and drinks. It was really fun to hang out up there, have some drinks and play pool. "

"The front desk was super helpful and knowledgeable. When we arrived they gave us a room upgrade and staff helped to organize both activities and to coordinate with other travel bookings we had. Walkable and enjoyed being able to go be apart of sister hostels as well! We did not understand the hot water system at first but staff were quick to help!"

"This is not the place to stay if you snore. All the bunks, including private rooms are in the same hall so every single conversation can be heard. If someone leaves the sliding door to the restroom/bath area open, you can hear them pee. The location is great! The conditions of their bikes are not so great. A/C is only turned on at night and there’s energetic music throughout the day so not great for mid-day napping. There’s lil brown stains on the walls from dead mosquitoes (I wondered what they...

"The Boathouse is a friendly ,well run ,central hostal. There is an excellent atmosphere and everyone is made welcome. The staff, volunteers and guests are happy to help or give advice . Facilities are fine and rates are excellent. "
