"The room was clean and so was the bathroom. What I found interesting was that the rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, unless you specifically ask for housekeeping. However, if you need extra towels or bathroom supplies, the ladies doing the cleaning are very helpful and provide whatever you need. The only negative was that the in-room safe didn't work because it was missing batteries. I thought it only needed 2 and got those from the front desk, but she did not have any others and so when I found out that it actually needed 4 batteries, I didn't bother to go back. It looked to me like a previous guest helped him/herself to some batteries they needed. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The coffee supplies were adequate and if you wanted milk rather than powdered creamer, there was a coffee station in the lobby that had supplies. There was a large deck with tables and chairs facing the lake, which was quite nice. There was also a boardwalk that went from the Welcome Center down past the ice cream shop quite a ways. We didn't walk all the way, since we had just come to get some ice cream which, by the way, was delicious! Especially the Baileys and Kahlua ice cream. Yum! The wine slushies were delicious as well. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, because there were a number of very nice places in town. Overall, a very nice stay. Would stay again. Next time I might bring my dog, since almost everyone at the hotel appeared to have brought theirs!"

"If in doubt, stay here. 5 * for everything. We thought it was a brand new hotel! Pristine clean rooms. Wonderful shower. So comfy bed and pillows. Pull down shade kept light out. Quiet. Friendly staff. Breakfast best hotel breakfast ever. Pancake station, mini omelets (egg white veggies and cheese), bacon, turkey sausage, nice selection of juices and coffee, cereal, fresh fruit, pastries that looked delicious. We found our new forever hotel when we ate in Rochester to visit our kids and grands. Above and beyond every hotel we have stayed at in the Rochester area."
