We were there for a prospective student tour and had a very comfortable stay. Student staff was excellent and extremely helpful to speak with about their school experiences. Electric charging stations were a nice perk. Wished breakfast was extended to 11.

The facility is within the Cornell campus so walkable. The hotel does not have free parking and it is available for $25/day. The parking garages are not very close but walkable.

Overall it’s a nice hotel on a beautiful campus with friendly staff. Unfortunately there was an issue with the hot water when I was staying, I waited 3 hours to take a shower since my girlfriend and I had gone hiking earlier that morning. The issue was not resolved and I had to checkout as I had a 5 hour drive back home. The link to request your vehicle from valet was not working so it was a slight inconvenience to have to call down and request my car each time. There was a tray of half eaten food that sat outside the room across from mine that caused an unpleasant odor in the hallway from the time I arrived around 3PM until I last returned for the night at 10PM, it was removed by the following morning. I would probably stay at The Statler again, as the hot water was likely a one-time issue and the other issues were rather minor.

We loved our overnight at the Statler. We explored the falls areas, botanic gardens, arboretum, art gallery, dairy bar and down into collegetown for some great Asian food. We had a beautiful view that reached the lake to the hillsides and the campus buildings. Everyone was super friendly and the room was well-sized and clean.
