10/10 Excellent

"Todo bien solo un contratiempo en el check in de ahi todo bien"

Holiday Inn Express Puerto Vallarta by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was very clean. Staff very friendly and breakfast had plenty of options. The hotel felt very safe, you even needed to use your room key card to get onto your floor after getting off the elevator. My husband used the gym and said it was nice. Also stores, restaurants and pharmacy very close."

Club Regina Puerto Vallarta managed by Accor

8/10 Good

"In general a successful stay. We found the front desk staff somewhat condescending during most interactions during our stay. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. There are radical differences between suites throughout the various buildings. Ours was very tired, showing its 30+ years with very few updates. No fridge, cracked bathroom counters and inconsistent water controls. On the plus side the AC worked very well. Restaurant and cafe service and food were always good. The numerous outdoor pools were definitely a plus. Location is a 30 min taxi from Romantica if you’re looking for different character during your visit to PV."

Casa Velas Adults Only All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Customer facing staff (servers, concierge) were outstanding. Kudos to Leonardo, Ulyses, Omar, Alex and Alfredo. Back office staff (room staff, admin) not quite so good. We only got nightly turn down service about 50% of the time and our welcome letter was addressed to someone else. Emilianos restaurant was disappointing. The main room was closed and we were shunted into a spare room, square with white walls, little decoration and no entertainment - the atmosphere was terrible. We dined on the patio a second evening, and it appears they had a static menu as we could spot no differences from our first visit. To cap it all, the food was overcooked. Fortunately, the hotel offers complementary dining at its sister locations. Tau, on the beach, was our savior. The service was excellent both during the day and at night, and the food outstanding. Their menu varied night to night, they had an excellent singer providing entertainment, and the open air ambiance completed the experience. Well done to Leslie and her staff of Saul, Isaac, Antonio, Enrique and Erick. We also went to the Andrea restaurant in Velas Vallarta, but after being served by a disinterested water in a room of screaming children running around we vowed to never go back. Finally we went to Grand Velas and dined in their Piaf restaurant. It was the culinary highlight of our trip. Overall, though, we had a very pleasant experience at Casa Velas. Would we go back there? The jury is still out on this."

Ocean Breeze Puerto Vallarta

8/10 Good

"Its not called Ocean Breeze, it’s Mayan Palace- after that confusion and them trying to pitch is on buying into the owners program before we even checked into our room…. It was a pretty nice place. Friendly helpful staff, good food and a beautiful lobby. Probably wont go again, but it was nice."
