« Very lovely location and very remote and safe compared to the rest of the town. The waterfall house is a full house with all amenities and is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. The cabins are cute and we had the place to ourselves but if we visit the big island again we will be sure to reserve the waterfall house for the full stay because it’s just so wonderful! Staff was very helpful, peaceful, clean and quiet. »

« Me and my daughter had a very good experience at the Volcano Forest Inn. It is literally at 5 minute drive of the entrance of the Volcano National Park. Which allow us to visit the volcano easily. « Great little house next to the owner's house. Not a lot of space but cozy. Owner is easy to reach and answers questions quickly. Warm welcome. However the location is not that convenient as it is a good 25 min from Hilo, and the roosters and dogs of the neighborhood are very noisy at night... »

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....
