This 2800+ SF house has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and 180 degrees of unobstructed views where you can watch colorful sunrises and marine life like whales, dolphins, and turtles play in the ocean. Have an enjoyable Hawaiian vacation where you can listen to the waves and feel the ocean breezes. The home is located near the most eastern tip of the Big Island and due to tradewinds and sea breezes is almost always free of VOG (volcanic Haze) that affects the air quality in other parts of the island. Our home has been lovingly prepared and will make even the most discriminating traveler happy. This home offers peace and relaxation in a dramatic setting with panoramic views of the ocean. Listen to the songs of myna birds at sunrise and sunset. Refresh yourself in the pool or go on a leisurely stroll in the nearby forest. Located in a friendly neighborhood, and near a park, this location is great for taking walks, jogs, or bike rides. Or just kick back and relax on the lounge chairs and enjoy the sun and ocean breezes. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from the town of Pahoa which has many stores and restaurants to chose from. Just down the road is Isaac Hale beach Park & Pohoiki Black Sand Beach (swimming/surf spot), the Kaunana Lava Tubes, Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm, Boiling Pots, Shipman Beach and Uncle Roberts. Don't forget to check out the eruptive activity of the Kilauea volcano within the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Kilauea has been intermittently erupting at the summit since Dec. 23, 2024. Fantastic views and the sound of crashing waves was amazing. The pool was the grandkids' favorite thing to do in Hawaii. The kitchen was huge and the check-in was very easy. We hope to come back someday. And the mystery is solved. I thought the house looked familiar. After I got home, I found a picture of the same house with the pool. We have stayed at this home both times we traveled to the Big Island. It has an incredible view and is always well maintained. Jennifer was in contact with us before and during our stay to make certain we had everything we needed. The home is located in a quieter area near the town of Pahoa. It makes it even more enjoyable being less busy and able to enjoy the coastline from this quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend staying at this home when visiting the Big Island especially while on the East side. ##### Eric K. The house was spotless and beautifully designed, with plenty of space for everyone—my brother, his wife, and two adult kids stayed in the downstairs suite, while I enjoyed the upstairs. We spent hours on the patios just watching the waves crash against the rocks and spotting sea turtles in the surf. The pool was a daily favorite for us all. We spent a day at Volcano National Park and explored some local spots, including Rainbow Falls, the Boiling Pots, Richardson’s Beach, and Coconut Island. One day, we drove across Saddle Road to the Waikoloa side, swam and snorkeled at Hapuna Beach, and took the scenic Hamakua Coast on the way back. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we made most of our meals at home, but we did have some restaurant meals. One night we ordered Popeyes through DoorDash and had a fun Netflix movie night. We also appreciated the use of the beach equipment, cooler, books, and games. This was such a peaceful, relaxing stay—can’t wait to come back! ##### Lori Ann C. The house was perfect and it worked out great to have my parents in the upstairs bedroom and us and the kids downstairs. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There’s a great market about 10 minutes away that suited our needs well, a little park just down the road where we could kick a soccer ball around, great running along the Oceanside, well positioned for several day trips, and starting and ending the day right on the ocean couldn’t be better. Our aunt is an artist on the island This house was amazing couldn’t ask for anything more. Love, love loved it. Plenty of room in different areas so people could have their own space. There was no air-conditioning in this place but it was not needed. The wind coming off the sea was sufficient to cool the house and sometimes at night it was cold. The sounds of the waves crashing against the cliffs was the best "white noise" to fall asleep or read your favorite book. The place is stocked with the tools you need to cook with. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. The place is conveniently located close to the Volcano National Park so you can vist the Volcano. We did get to see the eruption during our stay. Several hiking trails beaches located near by. Kona is about two hours away but is worth the drive for the beautiful scenery. Mauna Loa is beautiful. The owners are very nice and are easy to reach if you have questions. Don't feed the chickens! Lol ##### Courtnay S. Very peaceful, beautiful home.We saw at least 15 whales on Day one from the living-room windows and several more throughout the trip.
