Disneyland® Resort Vacations

We just spent the evening walking around Downtown Disney. Ate at an outdoor venue with music and inside there was a bowling alley. Good food and great service.

Buy the Max pass, it is worth it. If you want Disney souvenirs go to Downtown Disney first. Every option is there. That way you can cut down shopping time in all the Disneyland shops.

Shuttle to Disneyland was great, but make sure you get there 15 minutes early or so, there will be lots of people trying to get on the bus and there is no standing. They do a good job getting more buses to clear up the lines though. Bit tougher coming back to the hotel.

Get there at least an hour before gates open otherwise you will be waiting. The security checks all bags manually so it takes forever.

Maxpass is worth the cost!! Depending on crowd levels, you may be able to fast pass every 60 minutes and no running back and forth to every park anymore!!

Too crowded: you will spend most of your day in lineups and won’t get to see a fraction of what you’ve paid for even with a fast pass.  Tip: bring a raincoat or buy an inexpensive poncho and go on a rainy day.... you’ll get to see so much more!
