"We stayed one night for early departure the following day. Beautiful and charming boutique hotel completely minutes from markets, restos, the cathedral and the learning tower. "Five stars. When we arrived the air con wasn’t working. Reported to reception and a technician was there within 10 minutes and we were upgraded. Accommodation was spotless and like new. Less than 15 minutes walk from leaning tower of pisa and all main attractions. Shop on site reasonably priced. Would recommend as great value for money."

"The drive up the mountain to Volterra was stunning. Then we arrived and parked in a nearby car park long enough to move our luggage to the hotel. The staff was very helpful showing us where to move the car to park for free. The entrance to the hotel is right in the middle of the historic town. So many shops and restaurants to explore.
