"Peaceful, friendly down-home vibe unlike any other. Homey, safe, family feel in every way. Love what the ‘new’ owners are doing to improve and honor the traditions of this very historic retreat. I came here first as a child, before the old hotel burned, and have known it through the decades. We will be back! Thank you, Sandy and partners! 💙"

"I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC.
The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there burned down, but the cabins remain. What was cool was that I read about Healing Springs (the old hotel) in a museum display years ago and it was such a a cool surprise to learn that these cabins are one in the same. I would definitely stay here again and I've already recommended it to friends.
Oh! And you can go get yourself some water from the spring while you're there!"

"Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. "

5/5 Excellent
"Lovely little cabin. Would be nice to have a larger back porch with screen since the creek and a small waterfall is so beautiful to look at and enjoy the sound. Inner tubes were in the basement with the laundry so we enjoyed a float on the creek. "

"I’ve been delayed in reviewing our stay at the Tree House because in my mind, we’re still there! Talk about relaxing, a true getaway, even though we were active from sun up to sun down. Everything about our stay was perfect. Ken was the ultimate communicator, so friendly, accommodating, and available for any questions. He and his wife, plus their children, greeted us upon arrival and during our stay and even shared her homemade bread! The area is beautiful, 84 acres that felt like it was all ours. We brought our two small, apartment dwelling dogs with us and they’ve never been happier. The pictures of the property give a really accurate depiction of the property, but nothing compares to being there! We’ve gushed over the Tree House to anyone who will listen and are planning to go back again. Thanks again, Ken! We are so happy we found you! "
