This was our second stay at Buffalo Bungalow and we will be back. Everything was clean, the beds are comfortable and a perfect location for us. Thanks for sharing
It's a beautiful little secluded cabin that had a gorgeous view from the kitchen window, and other rooms. It felt extremely cozy but with plenty of room for our kids to play. We appreciate the hospitality!!
The view and scenery is breathtaking. Loved the cabin. Very clean, comfortable and had a welcoming feeling the moment we got there. The hosts were very friendly and and accessible. We're already looking forward to another chance to stay out there next time we're in the mountains.
This property find was a great one! The property owners communicated well and were available if needed. The property was clean, spacious for what we needed, and easy to get to. I would certainly recommend!
The house was perfect for our family of 4. Close to Jefferson, but far away that it was peaceful. The well equipped kitchen, had everything we needed. Thank you!
Were in for a wedding near W. Jefferson. Perfect place for a week or weekend in NC mountains. Beautiful scenery from the bungalow. Very clean and feels more spacious that the actual square footage. Owners very responsive when I had some questions. Hope to stay there again and see more of the area.
We came up for a day in West Jefferson & a night at Tweetsie Railroad with my granddaughter. This house was perfect for our stay! The host sent detailed directions including an alternate route in case of bad weather. We arrived after dark in a downpour of rain & had no problems at all finding it or getting in. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again. It was exactly as described and such a charming home. Thanks to the host for a great stay!
Wonderful accommodations for a quick weekend to celebrate a birthday! Arrived to snow and beautiful scenery viewed from the cabin! The care taker showing up to make we were warm was a very welcome surprise! Leaving instructions received by email and ones printed in cabin were a little contradictory-(temp settings and washing instructions). Would love to go again sometime!
Little confusing getting their. Other than that i have absolutely no complaints. Beautiful. Thats all i can say. The cabin the view the ride to the cabin. It was so clean it was shinning when i got inside. And the communication was fantastic
Very clean and well stocked. Spacious living area and bedrooms. Nice view. Quiet rural setting. Easy drive to West Jefferson. Wifi was a little inconsistent. Single AC unit in living room required bedroom doors to remain open for circulation.
Very clean and modern. Bed slept marvelous. We were in the Boone area a couple of days with my granddaughter orientation at Appalachian so most meals were off site. Be aware that restaurants in west Jefferson are still feeling effects of Covid and have limited hours but fast food places are available. Sorry to see that Shatley Springs has shut down as we always enjoyed their menu. West Jefferson is a great place to visit and we will go again

Very clean. Beautifully decorated and everything you could need is provided. You can tell the owners really take care of the cabin and care about your stay. Had an issue with heat when we checked in. Temperature had dropped like 20°. Called owners and was fixed in 5 minutes. Thank you.
This is our second time staying at this garage apartment cabin. It’s consistently VERY clean and comfortable. It is perfect for our family of four. It’s very well appointed. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had a Keurig, which we use at home. The location feels remote but is convenient to downtown West Jefferson. My only concern is that a propane heater is used for heat in the living room, which has a strong odor. The heat for the bedrooms and bathroom is on a separate system and does not have the same gas odor. Overall, a great value in West Jefferson. I would stay here again and recommend it.
Everything was just as described. Very clean, great accommodations, great host, kitchen stocked with all needed equipment, and a perfect location for us. Thanks for sharing
This was a great gateway for my finacè bday celebration and location not far from parks or West Jefferson downtown, good places to eat and shops, and a market near by about 5 min.. We went to Blowing Rock in downtown with good food and a nice walk. The weather was great 18 which we could have taken some trails but way too cold. The host were fast in responding, their cabin has beautiful views and very cozy which felt like home. Thank you
