The flooring used to line the shower was peeling off, cabinets broken etc. that being said, the kitchen was nice, and the place was clean and tidy. Door was wide open with drunk people in hallway. The drains were blocked and we were told to buy bleach and unblock them, place was dusty and we didnt feel safe so we left after half hour. It’s presented online by VRBO as a bright and airy flat . However , this is most definitely not the case . The flat is located in a particularly scruffy part of Bristol, located between many fast food places . Once negotiating the key safe , guests are greeted by the most awful communal access area, stains on walls, rubbish everywhere and obvious signs the properties are not well maintained . Once inside the property it was immediately apparent that the flat was in fact a grubby , dark space . Everything was dated and well worn . We decided without hesitation to cut our losses and not stay at the property . This accommodation should not be advertised as fit for habitation . ##### David G. Upon arrival, the check-in process was extremely frustrating. The key was supposed to be in a lock box, but it wasn’t there when we arrived. We were left stranded in a city we had never been to, with no place to stay. To make matters worse, the owner was incredibly inconsiderate and did not seem to care about our situation. It was evident that they should have checked the lock box beforehand to ensure everything was in order. As a result, we had to scramble to find alternative accommodations at midnight, which ended up costing us five times the amount we had planned to spend.
