"Excellent location, beautiful historic building "

"Staff were very friendly and efficient. They had fresh fruit and coffee in the morning. The overall cleanliness was pretty good, but the rooms were pretty beat up with marks on the walls and the baseboards and the carpet seemed a little dirty. The hotel is located right downtown Victoria and there were a lot of questionable characters around. We parked out front because the hotel parking was full. Unfortunately, our truck was vandalized."

"Hotel staff are excellent: cheerful, accommodating, service oriented. They made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast included a variety of choices, from fruit, cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon, and baked goods. Gluten free options included yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon. "

"Room was clean and washroom newer with tiles…there was a fridge/freezer, microwave and small coffee maker but not a kitchen. The staff were pleasant. My room overlooked a rental car yard which was noisy at times….but overall a great experience. "
