Riads in Bahamas

"In a nutshell, the resort is overpriced. The staff, especially at the reception desk, still have a lot to learn about customer service. We spent an hour waiting to check in without any explanation or apology. The restaurants are crowded, and not all of them are worth the high prices. On the positive side, the pools are nice and the beach is great. The Jazz Club is amazing, with highly professional bands and a fabulous atmosphere."

"Amazing onsite restaurant options! Friendly staff. Such a laid back vibe for our family. The pool had 2 water slides that was all the kids really needed! A really great alternative to a large resort to experience the Bahamas in a relaxing environment. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids under 10) loved it!"

"I checked out in the first few hours and although I was told I would only be charged for one night, I was charged for all the days I was gone and even resort fees for the unused days. The resort will not respond to multiple requests from Expedia still regarding the extra days charges."

"Stay away from this Hotel unless you want to be ripped off . Our room was unacceptable ie light bulbs out , drawers unopenable to the point where a lot of people complained, even joked about it . Mirrors that looked 50 years old with need thru , poor plumbing , remote bad on TV water dripping thru AC vents in ceiling right onto hallway floor (Dangerous ) you have to book all your restaurants 2 days in advance just to have a chance to get to the terrible food offered . Only the Buffet was acceptable . Pool although a great view missing tiles , ceiling under bar needs scraping and painting badly . Outdoor speakers completely rusted . Do I need to go on? Just don’t Go . The only good thing about this Riu - I call it PU - was the staff and bartenders - they were great ."
