"The location with proximity to airport, downtown via skytrain is excellent. Getting into the RiverRock by car takes some focussed concentration. Check-in process was relatively smooth, though the people at reception seemed somewhat under stress. Upgraded to the riverside tower for a fee. The room was very spacious, however the king bed needed an upgraded mattress. As it was, both my husband and I noticed it was hard on our backs. I believe the room fees should be adjusted to reflect the need for a few upgrades. The restaurant on upper level offered good, reasonably priced food. We did not go to Ramsey's steakhouse because of the prices, but would have loved to. Cleaning staff were attentive and very good. Casino was fun. Only tried the slots."

"It was very decent hotel. It is clean and the staff is very helpful, but nothing exceptional about the hotel for the very high price they charging. Breakfast is not included. The coneting restaurant is not very good, the food we ordered was not done the way we ordered. ."

"Room was good, a little dated. The surrounding area around hotel needs to be cleaned up. Shuttle service from airport to hotel was good. Shuttle service from hotel to cruise terminal was interesting, driver could probably get a second job as a race car driver. I understand it was a third party shuttle service, not tied to the hotel. Overall was a good stay for two nights."

"Everything was clean and pleasant. The hotel has arrangements with a local cab company for airport shuttle to the hotel between midnight and 4am when the regular shuttle runs begin so even though we arrived at YVR after midnight we had a ride to the hotel! Very thoughtful and convenient. Would stay here again."
