"Great hotel at Niagara on the Lake"
Hotel is located off the main street on quiet residential street across from the golf course making landscaping of the grounds very pleasing. This was an excellent find for value. Hotel staff was very friendly, and lunch and dinner meals were very tasty as was the continental breakfast. King room was clean and quiet. Room exception and only negative was not having electric outlets for electronics charging. A necessity in today's environment. Pulled chest away from wall to get to an outlet finding outlet and wires very dusty and almost impossible reach. No other negatives about hotel and yes, I would stay again and recommend this hotel to others.

"Beautiful house"
Brilliant house in one of the best places in Southern Ontario. Rooms are beautifully made and modern. Owners John and Karen were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to talk and give advice. Perfect getaway. Breakfasts were fantastic and filling. Wife and I loved our experience and will definitely recommend to family and friends. Will revisit for sure.

"Great rooms and facilities with great service"
We stayed at the hotel so that we could go shopping at the niagara outlets which are two minutes away. Hotel rooms were excellent. The hotel includes a very good fitness centre with pool. Best accommodation that I have experienced in Niagara Falls region. The food at the hotel was dissappointing but it was very convenient. The staff were extemely attentive and pleasant.

"Great location"
Great hotel and location , room could be a bit cleaner, there was blood stains on carpet and bathroom, makes me rethink what happened in that room. Overall good experience for one night minus the uncleanliness of stains found.

"Lots of lovely sitting space"
The property is lovely with plenty of places to look out at the river or the beautiful property. The rooms were very comfortable, with good quality bedding and towels. The bathroom that is shared by the three upstairs rooms is spectacular, the ceiling rain shower is to die for! I will admit it was a little odd having to share the bathroom between three rooms, but we never had to wait to use the washroom, so worked for us. The rooms were very quiet, we didn't hear the other people at all. The residence was very welcomingly and you didn't feel awkward coming and going. Great stay. Would stay again.

"Great Stay"
My wife and I chose NOTL for a long weekend visit. It was our first time to the area. We found Somerset Jouse online and gave it s shot. We stayed in the master suite. It was super spacious and very clean. The bathroom was was modern and luxurious. The other big benefit was the view. The house sits right on the water so you get an unobstructed view of the mouth of the Niagara River, Firt Niagara on the US side, and Lake Ontario. The location is also nice because it's a short walk into town and just far enough out that the streets are quiet. Plenty of off street parking too. Julie (housekeeper) was very nice and gave us honest reviews of restaurants, activities, etc. We also recommend the foodie tour with Charlie for some history on the town and a chance to duck into a variety of restaurants you probably wouldn't have time to go to. My wife and I aren't the type to laze about the B&B, instead we used Somerset House as a home base and it served our needs very well. Thanks for the stay!

"Great layout "
I really liked the floor plan-every room faces the river. Restaurant was being renovated which was a little inconvenient.

"Can't beat the view and staff friendliness. "
I came for the winter view and was not disappointed. Was on 11th floor. Loved the windows (which even open to get the sound) and living room style furniture. Great way to enjoy the falls in the winter. Work out room very nice with high end well cared for equipment. Pool looked clean, but limited lawn chairs that recline-my favorite. Hot tub nice, but very limited size (I think it was 9 people). I guess pool area can get crowded in peak tourist time. But was fine when I was there--except for lawn chairs. If I was coming in warm weather and spending most of my time outside, I would have chosen a cheaper hotel with more free amenities such as fridge, microwave, breakfast, dressers with drawers (they had a hanging closet and small drawer on nightstand--but no dressers). While you can control your own heat, it was not temperature controlled. Instead must choose setting and blows constantly and noisy. Room got hot even on coolest setting and then I'd have to turn off--even middle of night. Location nice for walking to restaurants. Train to get to falls adjacent to hotel. I didn't take--view from room too good. I guess casino easy to get to as well--didn't go. To do the other tourist sites (boats, zip, etc.) I believe you have to take a bus or have a pretty long walk. Hotel was quiet when I was there. Jets on tub did not work and I didn't bother asking for fix or new room since we were there such a short time. I'm sure they would have changed us. Otherwise was nice deep/wide tub.
