"Upon arrival trying to check in couldn't find any staff working in the front desk waited half an hour with no one around decided to start calling the property at least 10 times to finally get someone to come down and check us in upon entering our room. It was very outdated dresser drawer wouldn't shut hair on the bedsheets. Hotel seems sketchy. I wouldn't stay here again."

The property itself did need some updating as the carpets and furniture had a musty smell to them due to age. The pillows and bed linen did not smell fresh either. "We stayed here exactly one year ago for our child's admitted student day at UVM and are glad we came back. The renovations they were undergoing at that time resulted in a very comfortable Lobby and restaurant/ bar area. The bartender who served us on Friday night was incredibly friendly and helpful. The valet/parking service was very convenient and efficient. The beds were comfortable and the location in town was super convenient."
