"Excellency all round"
Everything was perfect, I'm usually very picky on hotels, but this live to its reputation, I had luggages transported from other locations 3 days prior to check in, and book window seat table on the day at the New York grill, check out extension etc. only thing is the breakfast choice was not many and the Japanese set manu was unavailable.

"overall quite satisfied"
Good location in Shinjuku. Good view and very good breakfast selections. Free shuttlebus was very helpful. One disappointment was regarding free water service. Very surprised to hear that my room is not included free water service. I never experienced in Asia hotels to make differences between room category(or rate category) by free water service. If any one book via expedia, you should buy water at convenience store or vending machine.

"An amazing stay!"
Thoroughly enjoyed the Shinjuku Granbell. The room was lovely and the complimentary toiletries where fantastic . Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the location was great to match. The only negative, was that we didn't book for longer. Will stay again :)

"Right next to Higashi-Shinjuku Station"
The room was a little small, but so are all rooms in Tokyo. The bed was bigger than the last place in Tokyo I stayed at and was a lot cushier. There is a very small bathtub in the shower that you can use but you have to fold your legs to fit into it. There is a heater in each room. The outlets are all 2 prong so if you have a 3 prong cord (for like a laptop) then you'll need to bring an adapter. There is a vending machine, ice machine and coin-op washer dryer in the basement.

"Highly recommended!"
The room was a bit small but I understand that's normal for Japanese hotels so that's not a criticism on the hotel. The hotel itself was brilliant. It was really comfy and amenities were luxurious and plentiful. The restaurant was also a pleasant experience. The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help. Conveniently located about a mile from the main station, this hotel offers excellent comfort and warm service, complemented with stylish decor.

"Great hotel for enjoying Shinjuku and Shibuya"
This is a clean, straightforward, 21-story hotel in good proximity to Shinjuku's attractions. One block from the Okubo subway stop on the Chuo line, a few more blocks to the Shin-Okubo stop on the Yamanote line means you can pretty much go anywhere you want in Tokyo with not too much hassle. It's not a "luxury" style hotel but it has nicely done Ikea furnishings and honestly if you are looking for luxury in Tokyo you might as well look for a hotel in Ginza. Prepare to pay a lot there. This hotel is great for people who just need a nice, affordable place to rest up for more Tokyo adventures. I would definitely stay here again.

"Nice hotel in Shinjuku."
The hotel was very clean and nice. The bath in the basement was kept very nice and I enjoyed it! The rooms were small and it was absolutely a challenge to fit two travelers with 1 piece of luggage apiece. But, it was charming in its own way and I don't think that it's that big of a detriment for a short trip. Despite what others may say about the language barrier, I didn't find this to be a problem because I don't tend to need much more than check in/check out from the staff. I would absolutely stay here again. Great hotel!
