It's an old world grand hotel, but renewed elegantly. I booked a larger room, and it was quite large. The hotel is steps from the imperial palace, and minutes walk from Ginza. Other than the hiccup at check-in, everything else after that ran perfectly.
The Imperial has a long and rich history, in its heyday world Presidents and Hollywood elite guested here, to this day you can see why, and it was such a pleasure to have been able to stay here, although we felt severely underdressed as everyone was in suits, gowns, or traditional attire. If you ever stayed at The Plaza in NY, The Windsor in Melbourne, or the Ritz in London, you will know what to expect here, a treat.
My husband and I were stayed for our 23rd wedding anniversary. We had awesome time. What a delightful stay. I recommend to everyone this hotel. Stuff were super nice. My favorite was "old ber" enjoyed so much‼️ definitely we'll go back again‼️

Liked: Cleanliness
The hotel is located in Ginza with lots of shops and restaurants around. However, it is right next to the subway/metro with trains coming by every few minutes, which makes it hard to go to sleep. We stayed at 28th floor, but I still bothered by the train noises. Room services are not provided everyday, only three days per week. It took long time to check in due to the crowds waiting at the front desk. Overall, it is not worth the money we spent. I will not stay here again. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
