Very nice staff. Stay on club floors which have nice high views of the city and access to the club lounge with two small balconies that are nice to sit out with a drink at night. Also, access to continental breakfast.

Vacation stay. Good location but next time will stay closer to Old Montreal. Strangely, taxis must come to the side door, where no bell staff is ever stationed! Private vehicles may go to the front door. Therefore, coming from the airport with your bags, you're on your own; 14 steps, 2 sets of manual (and heavy) doors and a short walk to reception----on your own. Small but annoying welcome. After that, it was fine. Sunday brunch was esp good.

"Enough for a night of good rest"
The room is clean, although very out-dated furniture and bedding. The hotel has no elevator, so it was not continent since we have two strollers and lots of luggues. Staff are friendly. When we need something, they delivered right the way. Continentiel breakfast has basic bread and coffee, nothing fancy.

    "A big friendly classic"
As I drove in I was struck by the charm of the city. Tree lined streets with nice homes and friendly sidewalk cafes. The holel is a giant palace where the doormen help you in, park your car (not free) and take your bags to your room. The bar has cheese from the area and a great view of the river. For dinner I had a dish of sausage, braised lettuce, potato and fresh egg in a skillet with an onion and tomato base that reminded me of cooking in the French countryside. The dinner restaurant and the breakfast restaurant also have great views and the entire hotel is a treat for the eye. The area is full of shops, cafes and things to see and do. I will go back.
