“Excellent choice for Old Quebec”
Excellent choice for seeing the most of Quebec City. Staff were very friendly and helpful and if you get a deal on the room/breakfast combo, the buffet is one of the best we've seen.
“Steve's”
Great old classic hotel. Service was top notch, restaurants fantastic. Not just near all the landmarks... it IS a landmark.
“Very impressive”
A superb place! It's THE place to stay in Quebec City, perhaps reflected in the fact that there are tours of the hotel! Service and comforts all first class. Fun to stay in a hotel which has had as guests Churchill, FDR, De Gaulle, and all the staffers attending the wartime summits at the citadel down the road.
“Magnificant experience”
Simply the finest Hotel I have stayed in!
“Wonderful Experience”
If you want first class all the way, this is the hotel for you. Wonderful service and the hotel it self is breath taking to experience.
“Great Location!! Beautiful views”
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful! The Hotel was beautiful and a great location. We parked the car and walked everywhere.
“Perfect Location”
Our long weekend stay at the Le Chateau Frontenac was wonderful. The location in the old city overlooking the river was perfect. Our room was lovely; I understand they had been renovated not too long ago. We did not try the restaurants in the hotel except the small Bistro for breakfast. This was good for a quick bite before starting out for a day of sightseeing. The only complain we had was the tour of the hotel that you can buy a ticket for about $8 to take. A person in costume takes you on a 40 minute tour and mostly shows you a suite, the restaurant and lounge, a meeting room and the ballroom. It could have been much more informative but the tour guide was acting as someone from the turn of the 19th century and it came over very silly. I don't think they should charge for this tour. We definitely recommend staying there but skip the tour.
“Best location, great service, elegant”
For location, you can't beat this hotel. Tourists even come to see the lobby and exterior, and it is close to everything that you'd want to see in Quebec City. The rooms are totally spotless, updated, and elegant. We could not have been happier.
“Would stay again in a heartbeat”
The hotel exceeded all of our expectations. All service providers were extremely helpful and kind. My husband and I were upgraded to a larger room with a view without even requesting it. We would return without hesitation.
“Fairytale Luxury!”
This hotel was not only beautiful and ideally located, the service was wonderful. We went in October but I bet it's wonderful in summer also with the river, boardwalk, and cafes.
