“Five Minute Walking Distance of Stadiums”
We really liked the location of the hotel as it is within 5 minute walking distance of the football and baseball stadiums in downtown Baltimore. The staff was courteous and helpful. They allowed us to check in early in order to accommodate the game time which was awesome.
“Very nice”
The hotel was right next to the Orioles stadium, which is why we went to Baltimore in the first place, to catch a ball game. I enjoyed the stay a lot, the only thing I did not like was the parking, as we had to pay an additional $23 (Which was NOT mentioned anywhere when we booked the hotel) for parking.
“Great Stay!”
The hotel was terrific. What we expected and very clean. Our only problem was that the gorgeous pool area had a pool with a temperature that was way too cold to enjoy with our kids. We had plans of taking advantage of it, but after about 30 minutes (of a little cold water torture) we had to give it up. It was disappointing, but overshadowed by the rest of our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the wait staff very accommodating. We strongly recommend eating at the hotel for breakfast - when visiting out of season - almost everything except for Subway was closed for breakfast at the Inner Harbor. They are currently renovating the food court and one restaurant that typically serves breakfast won't start doing so again until March. January is not exactly "high season" in Baltimore! Besides kids eat free when an adult orders at the Holiday Inn - so that could not be beat.
“Loved this hotel and location!”
I don't think I've met a nicer staff in all my travels in the last year (multiple locations in 7 states)! I was traveling this time with two children, and the conscientious staff made the trip enjoyable for all of us, including great restaurant tips and pre-arranging our trip to the airport. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and the wait staff there were also attentive and amazing. It was a quick walk to the harbor, and my kids really enjoyed touring the ships and aquarium. And I have to mention the view into Camden Yard-- really wish there'd been a game!
“Great place”
My wife and I stayed here for a week. It is located in a great part of the city and walking distance from many great attractions. All of the hotel staff were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Definitely worth the price”
The only complaint I have about the Holiday Inn Inner Harbor is the small elevators. We could barely get our family plus our luggage on one elevator. The hotel is obviously old(ie. small elevators)but renovated and well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The location to Camden Yards and the Harbor was wonderful! However, parking was pricey at $26.00 per day but I think that's true for all Baltimore downtown hotels since the parking is public and owned by the City. When we arrived, the parking lot near the hotel was full so the hotel gave us complimentary breakfast for their buffett. We will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn again!
“Great to walk to a O's Game”
We stayed a night before a cruise. So close to camden yards that you could walk to it. Still not too safe to walk around alone at night. Many homeless people looking for hand outs but location was good to see the sites in the day time.
“great value”
Great value. I also stayed at a 4 star hotel during this trip for one night as part of the conference package I had. My favorite was definately this hotel. I didn't feel nickel and dimed and customer service was great. Wireless internet was free, management helpful, close to the conference center where I needed to go. I almost didn't stay here because of the previous reviews of uncomfortable beds, but neither my husband or I had any complaints.
“My review”
I stayed here for 2 days. The check in and check out were hassle free and smooth The staff was courteous and helpful The room was clean, linen was in place, the bathroom was spotless. Coffee maker, iron and everythignelse worked fine Best of all free wifi and logging in was really simple All in all ... a good place to put up in for a few nights
“Very nice”
Hotel was clean and comfy, and extremely convenient for our trip to see Camden Yards. The price was much better than most of the other hotels within walking distance of the Stadium. I'd recommend.
