"Nice place very clean "

"Always super nice staff..and free cookies at check in..the best is the absolute most comfortable beds and bedding ever..(except maybe the 4 seasons)...the kindest person of them all was Sandy the grounds keeper who went out of her way to be helpful with a couple questions i had about a couple things even though she was "just the grounds keeper"..she was super sweet.."

"The staff were wonderful at check in. They answered all of our questions. Staff were friendly and informative. The hotel is beautiful and obviously well cared for. The room was nicely appointed and so very clean. We will definitely stay here again. We came in for just one night before embarking on a cruise. "

"Overall, the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. There was some renovation work taking place that was purely aesthetic. The location was very good and was within walking distance to all of the downtown attractions. The only negative I had was that there was no complimentary hotel transportation to and from the airport and cruise pier."

"Living just a couple blocks away from the state hotel. I was always interested about it. Well, this time I didn't indulge. I have previously dined at Ben Paris which is superb. In terms of the hotel. It's very cute, quaint, and the details of both the room and the common areas are well thought out. "
