“Charming hotel”
The Mayflower is a charming hotel full of warmth and comfort. If you like historical buildings and old world charm, you will enjoy this hotel.
“A Place to Stay to see Seattles Main Attractions.”
We loved the hotel and location. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The location cannot get better; I can’t even begin to share how convenient our stay was. First about the hotel amenities: The Oliver’s Bar dining closes firmly by 9PM. Don’t think about placing an order for food 10-15 minutes before 9PM, otherwise you’ll get a bunch of exuses as to why food cannot be prepared or served. They’re were very nice about referring us to PF Changs. I was glad they did because PF Changs at West Lake Center has a tasty and inexpensive happy hour menu. Overall this did not bother me because there are other places open late that are better and cheaper. I rate the hotel a 4.5 and the restaurant/bar a 3.0. I would definitely stay there again since it’s clean, decent and in the heart of Seattle. In terms of convenience: Staying at the Mayflower Hotel you don't need a car to get around. The bus is free from 7am-7pm to most of the main attractions. The location of the hotel is close to shopping, fine dining and Pikes Market place. Nothing was more than a 10 minute walk. The hotel is literally connected to the mall which is connected to the train and bus depots at West Lake Center. We saved almost $400.00 since no rental car was needed. The train from SEATAC (airport) to West Lake Station cost about $2.75 one way. Parking in Seattle I observed was a pain unless anyone likes parking tickets and throwing away money on parking garage fees then rent a car.
“Hope to be back soon!”
Very friendly staff (they took care of one problem immediately); very comfortable room with all amenities; great location; delicious breakfast in hotel restaurant.
“Great people - great hotel.”
From the moment we arrived to the day we finally left (after a 2-day delay due to weather) the staff were friendly and wonderfully helpful. The bar is a treasure, the restaurant was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Ivan, Jane, Susan and the bar staff were so great. We had checked out and on our way home when the airport cancelled all flights. We called the desk staff immediately and they were wonderful enough to help us with another room and a snow rate that was less than we had originally paid. Thank you to all of the people who helped us - we can't wait to send everyone we know to you!
“Great stay at the Mayflower Park!”
We loved the Mayflower Park Hotel! It is perfectly centrally located for shopping, close to great public transportation (no need to rent a car!), clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant, Andaluca, is wonderful and now tops my list of favorite places to eat in Seattle. And the fact that you can walk directly into the Westlake Center shopping mall from the hotel without even going outdoors is a plus for shopping in the area, but when you are in the hotel it never feels like it is directly attached to a mall. This hotel has managed to keep the charm of an older hotel intact even as the city has grown up around it. We will definitely stay there again!
“Mayflower Park retreat”
Every employee we spoke with was helpful and cheerful. I would stay here again for several reasons, including, the convenient location and the pleasant atmosphere.
“will recommend”
I'm a frequent traveler to seattle and this is actually one of the very few hotels I'd consider returning. the building feels solid and you don't hear much street noise. not fancy but comfortable. good value for the price!
“Mayflower Hotel”
Great hotel with attentive staff. Centrally located with shopping nearby. Great restaurant on site.
“Grand, yet charming old lady”
Beautiful "grand lady" that has been well cared for. Everything was comfortable and had charm yet elegance. The only negative thing I could say is that it was hard to find the name of the hotel on the outside!
“Best bar in Seattle, oh and the beds are nice.”
It goes without saying that the hotel is very nice and a deal for its location. Even if you don't stay here, it's bar is one of the best in the city for classic cocktails. Find out when Patrick is working, and you won't regret it.
