Wow! Amazing place Can't wait to return

Property was fantastic! Great views and grand. Recommend you double & triple check your booking so you don’t have to argue with the staff when checking in or out. The trainees at check in are quick to tell you that if you’re booking from a 3rd party site that it’s wrong when it includes things like access to clubs/amenities/parking and it’s only another 120 GPB for this or that above what you have already paid. Spa means dry sauna and pool w/bubbles- no hot tub all for only 42 GPB for 3 hrs a day access. Dinner reservations in the restaurant turned out to be seating in the adjacent lounge bar with people standing around you having drinks and the restaurant empty “because it’s easier for them but if you want to actually sit there by yourself, that’s fine with them”.

So the three stars are solely for the staff and good AC which is hard to come by, but in terms of the property - the high reviews are very misleading. My first room that I was given had no windows, a clogged sink, a broken shower head and the best part…an enormous image of a creepy doll as artwork over the closet staring at the bed. I did not book a room that had no windows or even atrium facing, but warning if you are choosing one of those rooms they are totally not worth the price at all you are over paying! The staff understood my concern plus I did not book that room so the next day they upgraded me to the studio. This is a MUCH better room, but I will still say given the cost it’s really not at par. This is not a family friendly hotel, there are other much more family friendly spaces around so you still get the luxury of location. Breakfast is also overpriced for what you get. And seriously the artwork in the room can only be described as creepy, coupled with very dark hallways. Thanks to the staff…but 100% I would not recommend this place. The photos are misleading, this view is barely visible in most parts of the hotel! Reference to the strange artwork attached!

Now there is just 1 elevator so expect long delays or enjoy using the stairs for exercise. Otherwise I look forward to staying there again when I visit in August

Great location for trip

Lovely hotel. Great views across the bay. Staff were lovely especially Loretta at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.
