I like that it had a small kitchen

It was not a pleasant experience. I had to be moved 3 times to different rooms. The AC did not work in any of the rooms in the whole building. The door didn't close in one of the rooms. Then, at the third room, I woke up at 4 in the morning to find water everywhere. The room got flooded!

Our stay at Thompson Zihuatanejo on Playa La Ropa was exceptional from start to finish. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly suited to a relaxing beach escape. The pools are fantastic — peaceful, well maintained, and a wonderful place to spend the day soaking up the atmosphere. The breakfast and dinners at the resort restaurant were a highlight of our stay. We especially appreciated the focus on fresh local produce and authentic regional dishes, all prepared with great quality and care. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating the kind of hospitality that makes you want to return. And the sunsets… evening walks along Playa La Ropa directly in front of the resort were simply magical. Watching the sun disappear over the bay with the waves rolling in was unforgettable. A beautiful resort in one of Mexico’s most stunning beach locations — we would happily return.

Everything thing about the St. Regis was perfect!

Four seasons always deliver a great experience, the only thing they where no able to provide was a late check out during our stay! Punta mita is a great location!

Entertainment is top notch, hotel staff is super friendly. I loved everything about this resort except the food. They are very limited on the hours and if you dont get a reservation at a restaurant, which gets booked quickly, then you will have to eat their general buffet, which is not very good. since it was just my husband and I, we will book the RUI adult only next time.
