Pool closes around 7:30 and so does the pool bar. Housekeeping would make bed and provide fresh towels daily but never swept. The room was otherwise comfortable and the fridge was stocked with soda beer and a limited snacks. Having to make reservations for dinner before 4pm is silly, especially during the week when there’s hardly any people. Food was 7/10 but I come from Sonora so it may be different for someone who lives in Jalisco. We requested the hair dryer in our room to be changed out and it never got replaced. Bar staff was 10/10 and so was Karen at check in. The beach is beautiful and so are pool areas. At night choose any option and you won’t be disappointed. If you’re “tired” of vacation there’s a small mall directly across the street with a home type feel to it. Great beach as well so there’s nothing to do but sit back and enjoy. ![The night view was amazing this night. Slight hiccup when it came to communicating (not with regards to language barrier)- some staff told us to do one thing and when we did, other staff said no we can’t- ex: had our room upgraded for free which was fantastic but we were short a bed, they had pull out couches and was told that someone would make it up for us each night, but when called and asked they were confused why we were asking and it took a long time to have it made up, often with reminder calls. One person asked if we wanted just to have a set time daily for it to be Made up and we said yes but then when we asked about it again someone else said no. That part was frustrating the back and forth of it all.
