- staff is friendly but a number of them only speak Spanish or very little English. So online translation tools are helpful. - The team work hard to keep the guests entertained. There is a show every night and all kinds of activities in the pool area. - located in a quiet and safe resort area. about 30 to 40 min car ride to reach city centre of Puerto Vallarta. a Very family oriented hotel. - Food at the buffet is decent and they put an effort to provide a variety of dishes every day. Servers are very friendly.

We stayed for 2 weeks with our 2 teenage daughters and had a great time. We highly recommend the Royal / Premium service. The resort is up to Barcelo standards with great food, clean facilities and attentive staff. The beach was also great. We would definitely go back.

It’s a small resort but we had a great time the entertainment personal was fun and friendly. The only thing that I don’t like was that our rooms where in the 3rd floor by the lobby and it was hard to sleep with the noise do to the sport bar

Service was inconsistent and staff was not friendly. Limited options for food overall with poor buffet quality. Size of the resort was easy to navigate but more public restrooms are needed as they are not conveniently located to the restaurants. The upholstered furniture throughout the lobby was old, dirty, and too deep to sit in comfortably. It was difficult to find out any information regarding the hotel as there weren’t any signs, restaurant menus, etc

I have mixed feelings about my stay. Although most of the staff was friendly, the concierge was very rude, (she is a middle aged lady who had an illegible name tag). We purchased an all inclusive for 1 week. Most of our questions that we asked her was in Spanish to make sure that she understood us. She made it very clear that we were only allowed to eat dinner in their fine dining restaurants for 3 out of 7 nights. We had to eat at the buffet the rest of the time. Many people complained about the establishment at the pool. For example, the concierge had apparently told a party of 3 that they could only eat in their fine dinner dining at 10 pm. They had their elderly mother with them. It’s interesting to note that there were empty seats in the fine dining areas. There is no reason to make someone wait until 10 pm. While the place was clean and most of the staff was nice, some of the staff seemed to lack training. The maid service was excellent. A special thank you to Jose Luis for being very accommodating at the Italian restaurant! All in all, I would stay again if I couldn’t find anything comparable . I made sure to ask everyone I spoke to if they have ever done another all inclusive in the area. I’m willing to try another place next time. However, it seems to me that they shouldn’t advertise all inclusive and then regulate the fine dining so strictly. I have never encountered restrictions like this whenever I’ve traveled abroad.

Warning: Do not book this hotel through Expedia if you have children of any age! Expedia and the the hotel have differing definitions of children. We went as a large group and all the kids in our group were asked to pay exorbitant charges at the time if check-in. If you are traveling with children under the age of 17, do not use Expedia and have the entire first day of your vacation ruined! Expedia refunded the money several days later but the stress was not worth it!

The front desk and concierge are not very accommodating. When I checked in, the front desk lady told me I have to pay around $2K . I told her my travel was fully paid via Expedia. She said that her system said I still owe money. I have to show her my receipt online. Then she phoned Expedia and was confirned I had paid the full amount. Not a nice way to start your family vacation.Aside from the front desk and concierge. The other staff are excellent. Entertainment, cleaners and restaurant staff are excellent!

Hotel is in a great location. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, including walking distance. The food at their buffet was great and pretty enjoyable at their restaurants. Very nice property with access to beach. Would stay there again.

The hotel is located in a prime location with lots of shops and restaurant options. The buffet food is better than most all-nclusives but if you are doing a couple of days, the food does get boring. Resort was clean and staff was friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

I’ve been to Mexico many times. This resort is small with 264 rooms makes it more quaint and all centralized. Most if not all staff were very friendly. Aldo at the main bar and Jesus at the pool bar along with Angel! All great guys. Friendly. Good-buffet was the best I’ve been to at all inclusive. Most times the buffet is sub par but not this one. Excellent selections and varied it every night. Al la Carte- didn’t go to Mexican bc heard it wasn’t great. Italian was just okay. Lacking flavour. Tokyo was the best. Both the tepanake and sushi side were very good. The only thing is the sushi is not like what we eat at home. Mayo with most mixed sushi and the sashimi pieces were tiny. Rooms were small-linen clean. AC so so. It really didn’t adjust according to the little monitor but we just shut it in and off. Not sure how often they clean the bathrooom. The mirror after showering was disgusting. I had to wipe it down and throw the towel for washing. Makes me think the same for the shower. Not cleaned the way we would expect at home either. We didn’t complain. It all worked out. Shows-Michael Jackson was excellent -rest were not good at all. Recommend-have shuttles to and from PV and Bucerías. $2 each way could work well. All in all a great trip.

Our stay was wonderful didn’t have one bad meal we did upgrade to Royal and honestly I don’t think it worth it since u get everything with the reg stay. When you go look for bellman Armando he was very helpful, speaks English and very knowledgeable about Puerto Vallarta he’s definitely an asset to the hotel. The only 2 things I would change is getting better hostess some of them lack lcommon sense and some of the servers/bartenders we a bit “rude” and I notice it was cuz they saw us as “pochos” but there was more servers that went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We will most definitely come back again we recommend this hotel!!

Let me qualify this . My second time at an all inclusive. First one was Cancoon. The hotel’s power situation is a bit of an issue as it was down for 4 hours but they kept the generators on for key things. The service is great. I didn’t like the Mexican dine in experience as it wasn’t even an attempt to make it luke warm. I saw fajitas for the first time that didn’t sizzle . The Japanese steak house is amazing and Italian above average. Entertainment- well I don’t care about this but note to hotel. Michael Jackson is not a guy we care or want to see . Karokee ? That was awful. You had amateurs doing it . The house keeping was awesome . Pool , and location to ocean great.
