Oscar the bartender was amazing! He was friendly and made amazing drinks. Fatima at the Lobby was so helpful and attentive. The property was great. The beach has a lot of rocks so not as enjoyable as some.

The staff was amazing and so helpful. Rooms and facility were clean. This was our fourth time staying there. My biggest frustration this year and it was definitely different was the lines for food. We've been when its full and it wasn't like that. Stand in line to have them pull parties of four or five from the back of the line. The food at the fiesta wasn't as good as we have had before and corn and potatoes were under cooked. I love this place but this is an area for improvement.

El hotel.cuenta únicamente con un restaurante que siempre esta llenisimo, la comida de poca calidad, el room service no es "todo incluido" pues te cargan $150 cada que pides algo, tampoco te llevan ninguna bebida con alcohol a la habitacion. No es grata experiencia, por el costo se consigue un hotel de mejor. Calidad. La habitacion que nos dieron tenia la caja de seguridad rota y para canbiarnos nos incremebtaron la tarifa, accedimos y la caja de seguridad tanbien en mal estado

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. All of the staff in the lobby/front desk area were fantastically kind and helpful. Tatiana especially went out of her way to ensure we were happy. Our room was very nice with a gorgeous view of the pool and beach. The food was great - especially the buffet breakfast. The Sunset restaurant dinner had a gorgeous and romantic setting. (I would like to see more Mexican food offerings- tacos enchiladas etc.) The pool area was incredible. The staff worked together very well. They were always pleasant and had great attitudes. The food and drink options were abundant. We took advantage of the morning bike ride and the ceramics painting. The location was so convenient. Many food/ shopping/ scenic/ and touring options within walking distance. It was a memorable vacation that will bring us unending happy memories.

The access to the beach is bad, you ask for an extra shade and they said they can’t because that’s the way it’s supposed to be set up even thou they have extra shades available. One of the hosts at the main restaurant was always mean and racists at times because she will be nice to white people and mean to any one looking Hispanic. Activities at the pool were fun and one of the activities leader was super fun. Carlos you’re great!!! Be careful with your valuables because they are not responsible if they disappear from your bag.

This was our second time staying at Buenaventura Grand. Overall was ok this time whereas last visit was great. This time Sunset restaurant had the same menu each night and they try to upsale you a different menu. We went in July was very hot day and night. They had no fans in main lobby and only one fan in main bar inside. Shame on the hotel for not providing the basic accommodation of a fan!! Our checkout was at 12, unlike the last time we stayed there we were not allowed to make use of facilities after that time so had to bake in the hot lobby to await our transportation which was a 3hrs wait! When we went in February we were allowed to use the facilities and keep our bracelets. I have been to Mexico 6 times and have never experienced this before. We were not happy campers! Had they told us this on check in we could have planned our checkout differently! They are all about selling their timeshares not about customer service!! We will NOT be back!!!

This is a great resort! Great amenities and good food. Very enjoyable stay if you want something entertaining- there were some fun shows and events. I enjoyed that it was a resort on the smaller side (but not too massive, not too small)- it made it feel more intimate. Super close to shops as well! Ubers were all around and very cheap so if you want to go somewhere it’s affordable too.
