Belize Adventure Vacations

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. The rooms and grounds are spotless. You almost seem like you have the resort to yourself even when it's full. We had a full size fridge and stove top in our room. Our friends in the adjourning room had the same set up but their fridge was a bar size. The kitchen had the essentials to make tiny meals or breakfast in. The hotel supplied coffee/filters/sugar/salt & pepper. We did a couple of meals in the room and then ate out for the rest. The staff at this resort are genuinely friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site has a good menu but is not owned by the hotel. You have to settle your bill each time you're at the restaurant. If you're looking for an active place this is not it. This place is very quiet and family friendly. There was seaweed that washed up daily but the "crew" had it gone in no time. Note that this is also the windy side of the island. Most days are a nice breeze, other days it's a sand blaster. Our only drawback was the location. It's a 40 min golf cart ride from San Pedro and 25 min to Secret Beach on bumpy roads. If you are travelling with little ones take note of that. Bring tie downs for your groceries etc. There are places to buy food and eat out around the resort. Most are a 5-10 ride to find them. We would return to this resort if back in the area because it's quiet, even when it's full there are beach chairs and staff being so nice. Hope this helps someone traveling to the area.

10/10 experience! Not only was the resort beautiful the staff were attentive and friendly. Any need I had they went above and beyond to fulfill. The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future!

Truly enjoyed our stay at Victoria house this weekend. Very well kept property with the kindest staff ever. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience and exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. A wonderful place to kick back and unwind in peace and tranquility or to get your island adventures started. Highly recommend!!!

This is our second time at Portofino, and it was excellent. Far enough away from the city to be quiet and peaceful. Close enough to get to great restaurants and bars. The staff is friendly and readily available at all times. Accommodations are clean and quaint. Their dive shop has everything you would want to do to experience the sea life and pristine waters. I recommend a dive or snorkeling adventure with Kris. The fresh coconuts with rum just down the road from Steve and Angel and Roddie’s cocktails at the bar. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rooms were nice, every room has a view. In town, so easy getting groceries,and and entertainment. Staff was wonderful, Christian is great, making sure we were taken care of.

Solid for Belize City, but there was a ton of construction noise as they were renovating a room next door. The coffee shop also could not sell coffee right away in the morning as the "machines needed to warm up" so we had to skip it in our run to the airport.

The staff were perfect for the setting. Relaxed and willing to help with anything from getting water and towels to advice on local culture and booking adventures.
