"The property was more worn than in the pictures. It was clean and was a good value for the money. Yard had lots of mole or vole tunnels making it hazardous to walk around. "

"We really loved the vintage feel of natural cut wood under your feet and the open outside spaces to enjoy. Just minutes from WCU campus and Sylva, it was perfectly located for easy access to both locations. There were a few minor issues that didn't impact our overall stay and the host was VERY responsive. The only thing cramping the overall stay was having an occupied apartment over the garage (owners suite) which is mentioned in the post so it wasn't a surprise. We didn't think it would bother us a much as it did. We never saw the tenants of the space during our stay. There was ample space for our family of adults to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The firepit was a great feature but make sure you're not under fire restrictions before planning on using it. As for reaching the property in Spring, we had folks with a front wheel drive only who had no issues getting up to the house. "

Perfect location for Western Carolina University and has multiple wonderful hikes and adventures all around. Absolutely will book again when we come back"
