"Very responsive host. We stayed during Isais and lost power twice. Found mouse issues on arrival. They paid for breakfast and sent cleaners while we were out. Great for kids and the puppy. Appreciated wine, s’mores, firewood, and drum for campfires. Road in is very steep. And beds were too tall for my mom to get in. But plenty of space for everyone, close to town, and a beautiful deck to enjoy in dry weather."

"Everything about this property was amazing! The views are the best we’ve had in the 10 years we’ve been renting in the area. The house is laid out well, nicely appointed, has plenty of parking, and is on easily navigable paved roads. Being located within walking distance of Whiteside Mountain was a very nice bonus since public parking is always difficult at this busy trail head. The hosts were extremely communicative and responsive too. This is truly a gem of a property!"

"This was a sweet property. The owner was very responsive on the one occasion we needed to contact him. The kitchen was well equipped, but we only used it for coffee and sandwiches. I loved the desk in the upstairs room for doing my Bible study. It was a comfortable, quiet place to stay and we enjoyed it very much. Funny story - on the way there I asked our GPS for directions to Highlands and it gave #of miles to West Ireland. You will find GPS to be less than reliable, but somehow we always got where we needed to go. If you go I highly recommend the boat tour of Glenville Lake with Captain Mike. Not inexpensive, but you learn so much, see some falls you can’t see otherwise and very beautiful homes. He stops in November and I believe resumes in March."

"Our stay at Skyline Lodge was terrific … the Frank Lloyd Wright motel has been perfectly preserved with a sense of detail, simply beautiful … nestled in nature with hiking nearby and very convenient to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Oak Steakhouse was amazing, wonderful atmosphere, service and delicious food! We’re definitely going back!!!"

"Great beautiful home on a quiet natural lot. I love the moss backyard. I went out ever morning and did my grounding out there . We took full advantage of the nice hot tub. The beds were comfortable and plenty of comfortable seating for everyone"

"This home worked well for the price and we had plenty of room for four people. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequate but would not want to cook a meal for a large group. The dining room had plenty of room for playing cards and eating."
