In the town of Cullowhee, at an elevation of 2400 feet, this riverfront cottage has 180 feet of river frontage. Free from the bustle of hurried living, relax among the tall trees that surround the home. Take in a morning cup of coffee while rocking on the porch that overlooks the river. Listen to the birds sing and relax in the cool mountain air. A stone fire pit is located behind the cottage. Kick back in front of the fireplace or take a soak in the hot tub on the back deck.

Come visit this Smoky Mountain home where you have access to hiking, fishing, golfing, whitewater rafting, tubing, skiing, shopping, dining & gambling. The home is located between Sylva and Cashiers, 15 minutes to Dillsboro and the Smoky Mountain Railroad. Enjoy trout fishing, swimming or tubing from your backyard on the Tuckasegee River.

Great Place

Stayed here with a few friends and had a really good time. Every little necessity was already provided for us, all we needed were some groceries. Had one slight issue with the outdoor trash and some critters, but it was quickly taken care of by (I believe) the owner. Overall great experience and definitely worth the book.

Terrible Birthday Trip

The house itself was beautiful. The hottub didnt work. I always get a cabin with a hottub for my husband. He really needs it for the pain in his body. We have one at home. The deck was a liitle warped and i slipped and now gave a bad scape on my leg. Worst stay ever!

Trout fishing

Got to check in early got settled and started enjoying the back porch and deck that over looked the river. Got two days of fishing and visiting the shops and breweries in Sylva and Bryson City when not fishing. Had steak night Saturday on porch grill.

Great cabin by the river

We were here to attend Open House for our son at Western Carolina University. The location was perfect and the space extremely comfortable and warm. Loved the fireplace and being able to go out to sit by the river and listen to nature. We will be back anytime we come to visit our son if he picks Western Carolina to go to College.

Stay at the mountains

Hot tub was not functioning which was communicated one day prior to arrival. The first bedroom was not clean that we had to buy pillow cases, to be able to sleep. Probably due to the cold, the AC was not working sufficiently which ended in 46 Fahrenheit at the last night.

Cleaning people suck.

It was a very nice property. But the sheets were dirty, The floor was grity, And a hot tub was broken. But the place is beautiful and if it was cleaned properly in the hot tub Worked .It would have been amazing. Hopefully they fired the cleaning people and got good ones That care about their job. And fixed the hottub. I would stsy there again of these things were done.

Ok but won’t go again

Had a good time just getting away with the family for a few days in the middle of nowhere. Liked the atmosphere and location to the river but description did not include the highway being right there. The hot tub would not heat and after 2 days and 5 phone conversations with property management we were told no one would be coming to fix it. When booking places to stay, amenities are on the list of reasons I pick a place. Things happen but, clear communication from the beginning would have made expectations more reasonable. I will not book a property with this management company again. Also, the neighbors, who are not extremely close, are quick to make a noise complaint. We made a fire one night down by the river in the fire pit on the property with our kids. We were back up in the cabin by 8:15 and in bed by 10, woke the next morning to a notice of a noise complaint. I understand being respectful of neighbors and I feel we definitely were. The neighbors don’t seem to like having a rental property there and complain very easily. Nice area and we will be back but not to this specific house
