« Stayed here for one night after hiking Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Falls trail. Great location close to Cashiers where we saw 4th of July fireworks. Room was comfy and clean! Excellent air conditioning! They cooked made to order eggs and bacon and had assorted muffins, bagels, breads, and fruit. Chatted with the owner Julie at breakfast-super friendly! Don’t hesitate to stay here! »

« Awesome stay at the 50s style caboose in Buffalo Creek! Immaculate inside! We enjoyed the farm and animals and our puppy did even more. We were allowed to check in early which maximized our adventure there. Would visit again in a heartbeat! »

« This caboose stay was perfect for my train lover. We traveled as a family and there was something for all of us to enjoy. We got to feed theini horses, talked to the other barn animals, watched llamas, hiked to the playground, and admired the cabooses they had. The owner communicated with us frequently and was very friendly. The game room and store were perfect additions for us to enjoy. « Things that were spot on: The use of the pool; convenient parking; gardens and meditative space; 24/7 hot water for tea and AM coffee for coffee drinkers; nearby restaurants; lots of towels and pillows so no need to clean room daily for shorter stay guests; walking trails; entry by the east entrance; wildlife & bird song; the historic cross. Things to improve upon; the hallways have a bad odor or an odd Christmas potpourri fragrance wafting about; staff did not seem to be able to answer...

« The room was cute and the allowance of having our dogs was why we chose this property. Having said that the check in process wasn't clear using Expedia. There is no management office. You simply needed a code to get a key from a lockbox on the door of your house. The big issue was the multiple spider webs/spiders/and dust all over the place. You can see that the fans and ceilings haven't been cleaned in months if not more. The fire alarm hanging on it's wires went off for no reason twice. ...

« Owner sorted out some hassles with the initial identification verification process that they require, but after that, everything was great and hassle free. Would stay here again. »
