"This is a basic clean reasonably priced with a few luxury items like that tub and Grill.. the host Troy stop by for a visit talk to him briefly he did not intrude on our stay and he helped me out of a situation I have with my vehicle on my second day. Good communication friendly place was clean I enjoyed my stay."

"Location can't be beat. Within 10 minute drive to Bryson City, which is a charming little town. Million dollar views. The drive up the mountain should not be an issue, even without a 4WD vehicle. No close by neighbors, so very private property. The cabin is very well taken care of, nicely decorated, clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Convenient location to several great hiking and bicycling trails. Highly recommended: 5 stars all around."

"The cabin was very nice and well maintianed. The back porch view was truly amazing durning the fall colors. The road to the cabin is not motorcycle acessible unless using a small trailer to pull bikes up and down. Great location for the lake and a Wayah rd is a must to travel on and take time to enjoy. I would recommend and revisit this cabin. No cell phone service for us in the cabin (verizon)."

"My husband and I booked this cabin to celebrate our anniversary. It’s close by to the casino and the Sequoyah golf course which was perfect for us. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of towels and kitchen accessories. This is clearly stated in the description but the location of the game room with pool table can’t be accessed by the main house. It’s attached to the house downstairs but has to be accessed by stairs outside. Not a big deal for us. We enjoyed several games of pool but wish...

"Everything was amazing. So relaxing to hear the creek all night. I loved being about to walk outside and feel like I was in a dream. The only complaint I have is the main bed needs a new mattress. I slept on the couch to avoid it the second night. But other than that it was an amazing trip and I can’t wait to go back."

"Shady Creek was a great place to stay for three nights with my girlfriend while we enjoyed the local roads and explored the area. The setting is up hill and provides a nice, nearly secluded view into the woods. Which was enjoyable from the new hot tub that was recently installed! On the inside we were surprised to find the HVAC wasn’t working! But Troy was very quick to respond. He installed window units to make sure we were comfortable! "I booked this cabin during spring break with my twins. I could not have picked a more perfect cabin for us. This cabin was absolutely beautiful! The amenities were wonderful from the little things like providing two tide pods, two cascade pods, to even little shampoos in the bathroom. The cabin is just as beautiful as the listing describes. The views are breathtaking and the large wrap around porch makes it even more beautiful to enjoy. The kitchenette upstairs is also a definite plus as well....
