"We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and perfect for us and 2 kids. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and caught a few trout. We enjoyed playing games at night and built a bon fire. The location was perfect. We were able to visit some nearby waterfalls and drove south to Tallulah falls and Clayton Georgia for a day as well!"

"I was looking for a cabin that had big, open views where, after sightseeing, shopping, etc., I could spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on the porch. This was the perfect spot! The cabin is at the top of a hill overlooking the valley (don't forget the binoculars). Even so, there are homes all along the road up to the cabin, so while it was very private, it didn't feel isolated. I was in Franklin a couple of hours early and texted the owners, who responded immediately and let me check...

"The phots and description does not do this place justice. It was well stocked and very clean. It is a simple cabin that has been created to allow for total relaxation. Has a lovely firepit with chairs to relax qnd enjoy the mountain view. Even if it rains the chairs on the porch make it perfect to curl up and listen. Our 1 year old pup absolutely loved being able to run and play and chase down her ball or Frisby."

"My family and I loved our stay at Sapphire Sky! We had everything we needed - the rooms are spacious and there are many thoughtful touches such as board games and puzzles for all ages. Outdoor activities, shopping and dining are all close to by. One of our favorite aspects of staying at Sapphire Sky was relaxing by the lake after a morning of fly fishing and hiking. We hope to return soon!"

"Really great little cabin in the Lake Toxaway area! Kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table and the owner also provided firewood from the shed during our stay for the outdoor fire pit. Great communication from the owner and the nearby hiking at DuPont, Pisgah, and Gorges can’t be beat! Really good restaurant (Grand Olde Station) right below the property too so can walk to a great meal or drinks. Would definitely recommend!"

"Such a great mountain cabin! The views were great and the cabin was very cozy...this is exactly what us from FL were expecting for a winter retreat. The cabin was perfect for the two families that went. Plenty of space! Having a little movie room was awesome. We truly enjoyed this cabin and hope to return yearly. Also, were surprised how close we where to several golf courses, good restaurants, snow tubing and amazing water falls. We enjoyed pretty good weather so where able to take some day...
