This cozy, fully equipped, cabin rental is surrounded by a forest of oak and maple trees with backyard access to the Chattahoochee River. Fishing, tubing... just play in the water, and enjoy the soothing sounds of the river. Walk to the shops and restaurants, Oktoberfest, or have a horse drawn carriage pick you up. Plus, you'll love your hot tub found on the main deck, back yard fire pit, and outdoor TV. Entertain family or friends, and enjoy Helen, Georgia at the best-in-town cabin. Chattahoochee Charmer offers an open-air living space, with the kitchen, dining and living room in the center of the cabin. The living room with cathedral ceilings, rock fireplace and flat screen TV, also has double french doors leading to the main level deck with outdoor dining table, bench and seating. The master bedroom with smart flat screen TV and full bath is on one side of the living area, and the 2nd queen bedroom with smart flat screen TV and 2nd full bath are on the other side. Both bedrooms have French doors that open to the deck overlooking the river. A spiral staircase leads to the large loft bedroom, with smart flat screen TV and balcony overlooking the river. For a minor uplift in price, there is a sleeping area for 2-4 children which adjoins the loft bedroom, nicknamed The Harry Potter Room! Great for families with young children that are more comfortable close to Mom and Dad. Close and convenient to town whether walking or driving. Enjoyed our time outside, tubing down the river and stopping "at home" on the way down or just watching others flow by, played corn hole, had a fire and s'mores, cooked and dined outside, relaxed on the swing and read, watched TV outside, etc. We only had a couple of items that could be improved on. There was only one hair dryer that was on the wall in one of the bathrooms, none in the bathroom off the master bedroom. The mattress in the other main floor bedroom needs replacing, it is very noisy when you move on the bed and it is not very comfortable. Other than that, the place was great. ##### Patty K. We have stayed at the “Chattahoochee Charmer” for several times on our yearly trip to Helen. The river view from this home is beautiful and you can walk downtown. It snowed on our last day and was beautiful with the Christmas decorations downtown. The owners are very attentive and respond to any issues promptly. We really enjoyed our family vacation and the fire pit at night was great. There were a few issues regarding the cleaning company that was discovered on check-in. However, Billy made sure to rectify the situation including a personal visit to the cabin. We would definitely recommend staying here. ##### Kimberly M. However, I would not consider this a luxury cabin without the higher end details such as updated bathrooms. Plus, the counter tops and toilets are very low. The host was easy to contact and thank goodness since our water was cut off with a lock on the meter. We were refunded one night of our stay, and it was corrected the next morning. We love to throw darts, but the dart board isn't really usable. Otherwise, the outdoor space is where we spent our time and it did not disappoint!!!! ##### Traci T.
