Tiny toot is a 350sq foot tiny home. 1 queen bedroom with 32” Satellite TV, full bath, dining room and kitchen equipped with gas stove, kureig, microwave and refrigerator. Living room area has a queen size sleeper sofa and love seat with a sliding glass door to the porch that overlooks the creek. There’s is also internet/wifi available, please note that internet service is slow and spotty (frontier claims to be the best in the area, but we are located in the mountains!) There is also a 40” satellite smart TV with integrated DVD player. Our Tiny Home is equipped with central heating and air.
Outside there is a large covered back porch with a walkway to a deck that overlooks the creek. There is a fire pit for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows! Or if you prefer, there is a gas fire pit. There is also a gas grill for your culinary masterpieces! Along the side of the deck is a stairway to our private creek access.
Our home away from home is located in a quiet neighborhood with a mix of local and seasonal residents. The open grassy space next door is the neighborhood common area and creek access.
Please note the shower is only 71.5” tall. So if you are 6 feet or taller, you will need crouch or make use of the little seat. Also note that there is a loft, but that area is restricted for guests (private use only) as the stairs are narrow and steep and the ceiling is only 3ft, this becomes a safety hazard.
We are now offering linens! There will be sheets and towels provided for guests. There are also a couple light blankets in the ottoman in the living room. There is no washer/dryer on-site. But there is a laundry mat down town Bryson City. We have added a digital safe in the bedroom closet to lock away your small personal items.
There is a 24 hour buffer date added to all bookings for enhanced guest safety. This is one of our covid care measures for guests.

Loved the place and the location was perfect to visit all the hiking trails/nature parks. Downtown was really close and had a lot of cute shops and eats!
Loved staying at Tiny Toot. It was located right on the creek and was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Bed was comfortable and covered porch was nice since it rained the first day. Listening to the creek wash over the rocks was so relaxing.
Easy to find, small and comfortable, right on Deep Creek, grill had propane and was clean, inside was clean, had plenty of kitchen utensil and dishes, DISH satelite was great, and right down from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park with good fishing access! An absolute perfect location for a Dad/Son fishing weekend. Also, close enough to town to drive in and grab breakfast or dinner!
Property was quiet and peaceful. Close to town, shops, restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Trout fishing was excellent right out the back door. Will come back again.
Quaint lodging next to river. Quick and easy trip into Bryson City from here. We recommend breakfast at Bryson City Bakery. Amazing. Easy jaunt from here to Cherokee and national forest.
So relaxing by the creek to hear the water rushing over the rocks. Property owner had everything nicely put together with explanations & brochures for Bryson City. Easy check-in and check-out. Owner very communicative. Property was clean. We so enjoyed out stay and hope to return soon.
Cute, clean and perfectly located in the Byson City area. A short distance to GSNP with great hiking and fishing. My son and I spent a couple of days flyfishing both in the National Park and right outside the house. We were surprised at how good the fishing was outside of the house....Brook, Browns and Rainbows!
We were there to ride the Great Smokey Railroad through the Nantahala Gorge. The location was perfect. Not far from the train depot. We tried a couple great restaurants and shopped all the little shops close by. Quaint little town. The sound of the creek behind would make you love it more. I better it’s even better in the summer.
The property was great! Very clean except for the outside. The chairs could use an upgrade, but other than that they have done a great job with the place! The bedroom is very small, but that is to be expected. The bed was comfortable and the sounds of the river was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend it!
The property is so beautiful, clean, and cozy. The outdoor area was perfect for our fall trip. The hammock was a nice touch! We woke up early to listen to the river while enjoying our coffee on the patio area and to our surprise OTTERS were playing just ahead of us. We watched them for the longest. Couldnt have asked for a better quick get-a-way. We will stay again!
If you love the sound of a babbling brook, you will love this little place. The house is tiny. Bedroom and bath are a little cramped. BUT, we didn’t mind because we spent all our time on the porch, deck and yard around the fire! Fall colors are spectacular in this little neighborhood. Bed is comfy.
The Tiny Toot was beautiful, the area very quiet, and we loved the deck. This was a nice quiet get away for my husband and I. The house was beautiful. It was really clean and smelled so good. We did however spend the majority of our time on the deck or by the fire pit. My favorite part of a mountain trip is a fire and being by the water. This ticked all the boxes. Thank you so much.
We loved Tiny Toot and you can tell the owners care about their place and their guests. It was so relaxing to eat on the creekside deck and say hi to a few brave people tubing by in the chilly creek. Most important-it was clean, very clean! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and although we didn’t get to use it, creekside grilling would have been perfect. The mattress was excellent, but remember to bring your own bedding and towels. The shower is small, but functional. Excellent location on a quiet dead end court and about 10 minutes to downtown Bryson City and the train, or 20 minutes + to Cheyenne where there is a movie theatre and bowling in the Casino (much cleaner and nicer than Las Vegas). Bryson City is charming with great local shops, instead of the touristy t-shirt shops and a good choice of restaurants. We enjoyed our brief getaway and hope to return.
This property has the perfect location on the creek and close to the national park.
The listing clearly states you need to being your own sheets, towels, etc which is somewhat unusual but I didnt really mind. What did bother me, however, was the overall dirtiness of the inside of the rental.
While unpacking and getting settled, I realized the bedside "tables" had dirt and debris all over them. Moving into the kitchen, the counter did not appear to have been cleaned and had crumbs from a previous renter. There was thick dust between the appliances and walls, and the floors needed a deep cleaning. Every corner and crevice contained dirt, dust and hair.
Unfortunately, for me, cleanliness is one of the most important factors in a rental. You want to feel like the property has been cleaned properly since the last occupant. This was not the case in this instance.
