Because it was around the holidays, the host had already done some Christmas decorating with lit trees and small touches that made it feel very personal. The unit itself was exceptionally clean, and it is pet friendly, but we had no issues finding other pet hair or anything. The furniture was all very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the sleeping arrangements were all as advertised. We reached out to the host Eve before our trip to make sure we understood what cooking supplies we may need to bring from our own house, and other than our own special tools and ingredients, we needed almost nothing. Eve was incredibly fast to respond with every communication, and even though we had no issues, we felt very comfortable knowing that she would take care of us if we had. This was a beautiful home, and we are thrilled that we decided to use this home for our Thanksgiving holiday with family that doesn't get to see each other as much as we like. We selected the house because of the easy access to the main Maggie Valley drag as well as the abundance of beds for everyone. Everyone loved the house! It was easy to access, clean, well-stocked, and there was plenty of room for everyone, whether to hang out in a group or to retreat for a little R-n-R by themselves. Also, the porch was great!
