"It was very clean, nicely decorated room. Breakfast was yummy. The goats were adorable. Just be aware that the animals will be immediately outside your door if you stay next to the barn. We liked that, though. Fun place to stay with a kid."

"Property mostly unattended except for housekeeping and maintenance, I liked that. Very clean and maintained. We stayed a week and felt like a cozy little home and not at all like a noisy crowded resort. Uses water collected from rain stored in a tank so bring bottled water to drink or cook. It's on elevated land and even in summer the temps were cool and comfortable. Very close to volcano national Park and not to far to get to Hilo either. "Gorgeous property, quiet and serene, loved sleeping to the rain. It is clear this place was a labor of love to build and is well maintained. The volcanoes national park was 5 mins away and so convenient. The little “town” of Volcano had good restaurants and art center. Would love to come back!"
