"This was the perfect house for us. We especially loved the separate bedroom for our son to stay in. It was a fully stocked kitchen and a nice grill so we cooked in every night. The hot tub was great too! Mindi and John are wonderful hosts with top notch communication. The location was perfect for exploring the National Park and surrounding areas. The pictures just don't do this place justice, it's way cooler!"

"After attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side. Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area."

"Beautiful location near Volcanoes National Park and Volcano Village. Quiet, rain-forest grounds with fiddleheads, ferns, anthurium on walking path to hot tub. I was traveling with my hula sister and we wanted to watch the Merrie Monarch Festival on TV. The television was old with poor reception. I tried to contact the host through VRBO but couldn't get through. Called the VRBO help line and they cut me off so we watched on my computer instead. Glad I had it with me! Otherwise a pleasant stay."

"My wife and I enjoyed the time we spent at this cabin. Spent most of our time in Volcano hiking in the national park, and it was located ideally for that plan. Even though it is not completely isolated, it feel as though it is, and has is peacefully quiet, which is something we missed when later visiting other parts of the state. As other reviews mentioned, the only thing to be aware of is the very last few parts of the road right near the site are in pretty bad shape. Was very concerned...

"We enjoyed our stay at this interesting space. Matt has created a cozy and usable space with everything you might need to settle in. It is close to the National Park, so you can zip over to take in a hike or two, come back and eat lunch, and go again. We didn't watch TV, but the DVD library was impressive. We did use the bluetooth soundbar for music. The washer and dryer served us well, and there were ample kitchen utensils. And the price point made for a very reasonable stay. Matt was extremely...
