"We have stayed at the colony I at sea mountain in pahala twice. We absolutely love this place, the people are veey nice and make you feel at home. I love the privacy and how quite it is. Its also a 5 minute walk to the beach where you can see the green sea trutles."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was so spacious. There was room to really spread out and enjoy. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well supplied with anything needed to prepare a meal. The ocean views were outstanding. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. "We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall, it was a great visit that I strongly recommend. "

"We loved the rainforest that surrounded the tree cottage. The cottage itself was cozy and inviting. The dehumidifier and heater were a nice touch in the humid and cooler climate; the kitchen was great for preparing our own meals; very clean; friendly and accommodating host."
