Overall was a very nice stay and would recommend
Cottage is overall clean and modern, shared areas are not very spacious. Location is very good, peaceful, quiet, and very nice view. Outdoor area was amazing, firepit very enjoyable. Jacuzzi was dirty, we had to contact owner to request instructions on how and if we could clean up the water ourselves. Garbage/Recycling bins were full when we checked in, with bugs and smelly. Making sure to place garbage bags in center of cage, as raccoons can grab and make a mess if placed close to fence, would have been helpful to know. Suggesting to add this to the “Guest Manual” provided. Lake water had weeds, water equipment onsite but not allowed to use, no boards, no kayaks, not even lifejackets. Would have been a nice option. Flattop BBQ was unusable, was very dirty, but regular BBQ was fine. The deck is very nice. Overall was a very nice stay and would recommend.

Read before booking
Unfortunately our group did not have a good experience with this place. We usually do a couple trips per year and this was the worst we've ever booked. It was obvious that not much attention to detail was put into this place and it is meant to be a “cheap flip” rental / vrbo property. - Only small hand towels provided and no full sized towels to use for showering or drying off after going in the lake. Maybe it was my fault for assuming, but I’ve never been to a vrbo / rental where towels were not provided. - For a place that can accommodate up to 12 people, it’s a bit strange that there is no dish washer. There was only a small drying rack for dishes. No towels for drying dishes either. - The “lawn” was all dirt, it looks like an attempt was made to grow some grass but the lack of care to the property has left it bare. Luckily for us, it didn’t rain while we were there but it would get pretty muddy if it did. Our shoes got pretty dirty and we had to be very careful not to bring the dirt into the house. - Lack of privacy: camera pointed directly at the patio which really should be considered a private area. It’s a cottage and people will be spending most of their time on the patio, it was not a nice feeling knowing that we were being watched. Cameras are also located all over the exterior of the house which is understandable. - This is subjective but the beds were quite uncomfortable. - We paid the fee for an extra guest which is quite expensive but we accepted. No extra blanket or pillows were provided for the extra guest. You would expect something if you were being charged that much. - I would not recommend this place to anybody, I would not stay here again.

Great stay at a newly remodeled place!
Great communication with Harpreet which made our stay hassle-free and comfortable. Everything in the house was new, from kitchenware, the bedding, the furniture inside and outside the house, etc. The deck area was great, with a lot of seating for a big group. We used the fire pit area a lot in the evenings. There's a gazebo near the water with lounge chairs for relaxing. All in all, a top-notch stay! Thanks Harpreet!
