"We loved our stay. Across the street from the community forest for many walks, close to town (Arcata is pretty small though), great game room area for teenagers, lots of space, big smart TV, and a great sunroom. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. We really liked this place and we will definitely want to stay again! "

"The house layout and location worked great for one party of 8 adults. We loved having a living room, kitchen, and dining table to play cards. Overall, the entire house needs a deep clean, including carpets, base boards, walls, and doors. "

"We loved our stay at this property. The neighborhood is nice, safe, very quiet with ample parking along the street. The house was just as described: roomy, clean, well-appointed, with comfortable furniture and beds. Showers were hot, wifi worked great! Margo was a wonderful host, checking on to make sure we got in safely and had no issues. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Humboldt county. "

"The house was very nice. The neighborhood was quiet but located near everything we needed."

"We stayed here for our son’s graduation weekend from CalPoly Humboldt. It was a great place for us, super comfortable and plenty of space to work and then celebrate. The outdoor kitchen was an added bonus and we grilled and ate outside on the protected deck. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms generously sized. The house is also very conveniently located close to town while still feeling like you’re in the country. We also enjoyed the basketball and tennis court!"

"This home has beautiful wood work, hardwood floors, and updated bathrooms. The master bed and pillows were super comfortable! (We only used this room) The home was well stocked with linens and paper products.This home sits among beautiful homes in a charming neighborhood. We felt safe walking to many shops and restaurants within a half mile of this home. It is also easy access to the highway to go to Eureka and the redwoods. We would stay again and highly recommend! "

"One of the best short term rentals i have stayed at. Comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, well-equipped kitchen. A pleasant place to be. The private patio and yard is pleasant. Location is excellent for quickly getting to sites and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again."

"Shell cottage was the perfect spot to stay while visiting Eureka. It was nice to be close to easy walking trails and have so much gated space for the dog. The house was really comfortable and had everything we needed during our visit! Would love to come back and take advantage of the dock area."

"We stayed here for three nights while traveling up the coast from SF to visit the Redwood NP with our three kids (9, 7 and 4). The location was great for our purposes and perfect for our group of 5, I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. "
