"My husband and I were traveling in Florida with days in between our destination and on a whim (based on reviews from Hotels .com.) decided on a stop in St. Petersburg at the Hollander Hotel. Oh my goodness what a great decision! It’s a beautiful boutique hotel! As previous reviews had mentioned the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were assigned a room and after several minutes realized the air conditioning was not functioning properly. We went downstairs and reported it to the desk clerk who referred it to the manager on duty (a precious person!) and without hesitation we were given a room on the same floor that was amazing!! We cannot give enough stars to the bar, pool and restaurant staff. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future. "

"Great resort, tastefully decorated, clean rooms & all amenities one would need for a beach getaway including beach chairs, wagons, towels & umbrellas. The location couldn’t have been more perfect - literally across the street from a beautiful, quiet beach identical to the much busier Siesta Beach minus the crowds. Siesta beach itself is less than a 10 minute walk. The village is also an easy 10 minute with great restaurants, bars & grocery store. Would absolutely stay here again."
