Salmo Vacation Packages

I came here for a last minute weekend retreat in the mountains. The property is modern and has all the necessary amenities, even in the shoulder season. The onsite restaurant offers incredible dining. Service was great. I do wish this property had a pool or hot tub, and a more free parking options for guests. I also think a hiking/walking trail map for the area would be useful, along with activities in the area occurring during my stay (though I did not ask if this existed).

Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Beautiful room in a prime location in the heart of Nelson. Lots of lovely little extra touches (a deck of playing cards, a fine selection of in-room teas, hair conditioner) made our stay feel quite luxurious. Looking forward to a return visit.

We stayed in a king room. It was nice, but quite small…you couldn’t fully open the door without it hitting the bed. That wasn’t an issue for us since we don’t need a lot of space, but it’s something to be aware of. The room and bathroom were clean overall, although we did find a few small beads (like from a bracelet) in the bed. That said, the sheets smelled fresh. The shower looked great aesthetically, but it was quite small and a few of the features didn’t work properly. It was also a bit tight to move around in, though it didn’t matter much for our short two-night stay. The rooftop hot tub was a nice highlight. It overlooks part of the lake and can be booked privately, which makes it feel more relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They weren’t always at the front desk, but there was a bell to reach them when needed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back. At $150 per night (taxes included), it felt like good value especially with how easy it was to walk around town.

The accomodation and property are 5 star. Our rental had an eating table, keurig coffee maker, fridge and microwave and a large peaceful covered patio overlooking the lake.

First time staying at this hotel for a business trip. The hotel staff and Gabriella’s restaurant were the highlight of the stay. Great service and high quality Italian restaurant that serves both dinner and offers a breakfast cafe option too. Looking forward to coming back.
