This property was well maintained and had the very best bed. We were able to walk to the downtown area, but be aware that it’s uphill coming back. The room itself was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. There was enough room to walk around the bed and that is all. The closet was placed by the door because otherwise there would not have been enough space to open the door. However, the AC worked well and we slept (until road construction woke us up at 4:30am - not the hotels fault).

The staff were very friendly, very helpful, the room was large and very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The AC was awesome - which was the leading reason for us vacating our Air BnB earlier that afternoon. The location was close to downtown which meant we could easily access the many excellent restaurants in downtown Nelson. We found our stay, which was very unplanned, pleasantly, surprisingly, enjoyable.

A cute, older motel just above downtown Nelson. Very easy on/off the main highway as well as a quick drive a few blocks to Baker Street. The property personnel were very accommodating when I had a problem with the room I was given and moved me to another room. The rooms are basic and not the newest, but the linens were clean and the suite kitchen fridge worked.

Room was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly and accommodating with regards to my later-than-expected arrival. Within walking distance of downtown, the Nelson Brewing Company, etc. Bathroom was a bit cramped (even for one person) and I could hear the people in the adjoining rooms through the walls. Otherwise, though, very happy with the room and the level of customer service.
