"This place was a last minute stop on our trip to New Orleans. I was feeling well and had to find a place to rest. The staff was phenomenal! From check-in to check out and even the breakfast staff…they were all so kind and seem to genuinely enjoy their job. I haven’t seen that in a long time in any business. This place is doing something right to have staff enjoying their day and spreading the joy. Thank you for the enjoyable stay. "

"We had a great time with family and friends. We have family that lives in the area that came meet us for the day as well. The camp was very comfortable for 3 couples and kids. The kids loved the dock area and swam and fished all day! The place was very clean, and the owners responded quickly with the few questions that we did have once arriving. We have stayed many places on False River over the years, but this has been our favorite so far and we plan to come back!"

"The history and story of restoration were interesting. Most striking were the helpful and personalized communications from the manager and staff. The price paid through Xpedia was reasonable, I would not use the phone number advertised for reservations as it appeared routed to a call center and was a significantly higher price than online booking price. It’s an old building but that is much of the charm and authenticity of this unique venue. The staff appear to take security and hospitality seriously; the modern plumbing and access to a small refrigerator was appreciated. I visited the pool area but did not swim; it appears clean and attractive."
