"The place was an alright place to stay, especially for the price. The floors are uneven and the dishes available were lacking, there were not enough for us to eat. The couch is needing updated and the beds are not the most comfortable, but not the worst we have ever slept on. There was lots of room for us to spread out, which was nice. We did see a cockroach while we were there, but I believe it is typical in the area."

"This property was located on the canal with access to fishing and crabbing. Nice porch area with a swing, bench and picnic area. Location was great! Nice accommodations and host was quick to respond with any answers to questions. Will rent again in the future!"

"A great location to be close to everything fun! A quiet street with a short walk to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Studio apartment set up worked well for our family of four - the fire escape balcony was a fun photo spot, too."

"We enjoyed our weekend for a volleyball tournament. We had 4 adults and 5 teenage girls. They loved the upstairs movie room & enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed eating supper and relaxing in the evenings at this lovely place with a beautiful lake view."

"Genesis was a great host! Communication was top notch the entire time from the start of the booking to check out! Property is in a central location that’s easy to access!! Keep in mind that there is quite a bit of traffic on the main road all night, but that’s much of New Orleans. Overall it was a nicely appointed house, clean, & close to 2 grocery stores. Our stay was short so we didn’t get the full experience, but I would likely stay there again if needed."

"We had a long weekend with a group of family and friends celebrating a 21st birthday. The place was beautiful, clean, welcoming, well furnished with comfy beds, well decorated, and in a great location that felt safe. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving. The hosts were helpful, friendly, and prompt to respond. We asked for their other listings and will be booking again when we return."

"Charming old house near ULM. The house is fully furnished with kitchen and washer/dryer. The bathroom and bedroom doors are not lockable due to old age. Overall, the house is clean, in a quiet neighborhood, but it needs more electrical outlets for phone charging as some rooms have no electrical outlet or only one outlet. I would stay again if I need to come to ULM."

"The house was comfortable and clean and very close to the French quarter. Could walk almost everywhere. On the down side, it wasn’t as large as the photos described and a few things were broken. The coffee pot and one of the barstools. Fortunately a kuerig was available. We were five women staying there, there were five towels but no where to hang them to dry. No hand towels in the downstairs bathroom or kitchen. Also we had issues with the lock not working. It would work fine but the next time...

"Great property, location and host! The very best of New Orleans. Property had everything needed, is wonderfully decorated/appointed and comfortable. Herb is gracious and knowledgable. One of the best (if not the best) rental experience we have had. Will definitely stay again!"
