"I'm giving this property and our stay 4 stars (****). Here's why... The inn itself is adorable, clean and quiet. Close to "downtown" and the Arcade, but just far enough away. A bit pricey from a value perspective, but a nice stay overall. What I wasn't a fan of was the daily charge of $40 for our small dog. Seems a bit much. The other was the the prominent display of over-priced merch in the great room off the lobby, and the gouge-priced stuff in the room itself. Seemed more at home in a Hilton or Hyatt than a nice quiet inn. Overall - I recommend the Hummingbird Inn, with minor caveats."
