"We were just here overnight on a business trip, but our stay could not have been nicer. I especially want to mention how friendly, kind, and helpful the two gals at the Front Desk were when we checked in at around 7:30 p.m. I believe one's name was Sophia, but I can't be sure now. I should have written their names down. They were great. The room was spotless and usefully laid out, space was ample, and the bed was comfortable (although we always feel hotel bedding is too heavy for sleeping with a governor on the A/C set at a lower limit of 68 in this case). The breakfast buffet was delicious--we loved the little crustless , vegetarian quiches! And I appreciated the turkey sausage for extra protein, being on a low-carb diet. The pool liked inviting, but we didn't have time to use it. In all, this is a terrific place to stay when in Oxnard."
